JWL was founded to address a gap that becomes obvious inside the court system but is rarely acknowledged openly: persuasive oral advocacy does not always translate into durable written advocacy, and the written record governs outcomes.
Where the Record Is Made

After more than two decades working within courts and alongside judges — including supervising a civil court part — the founder of Just Write Legal observed a consistent pattern.
Effective advocacy often loses strength on paper.

Some attorneys operate under relentless docket pressure. Others prefer courtroom advocacy to prolonged drafting. Many simply do not have the uninterrupted time that high-level research and writing require.

Courts, however, rely on the written record.

The founder of Just Write Legal is also the Founder and National President of a national nonprofit focused on entrepreneurship.

Through the organization she built a national pro bono legal services program that partners with more than 30 law firms across 35 states to support entrepreneurs and nonprofits. That program has been recognized by the American Bar Association for its work expanding access to legal support.
